Haridham sokhda akshar purushottam swaminarayan sanstha is a trusted Hindu spiritual and humanitarian charity organization. With its vast network of centers and volunteers worldwide, the organization has enabled hundreds of thousands of children, Youth and families to lead a happy, peaceful and harmonious life.
Motivated by our faith in Lord Swaminarayan, Haridham sokhda akshar purushottam swaminarayan sanstha serves the global community alongside all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
Founded in 1974 by its spiritual head His Divine Holiness Guru Hariprasad Swamiji and actively operating in over 500 centers worldwide in countries like India, USA, Canada, Australia, New-Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, France, South Africa, Kenya.
Haridham sokhda akshar purushottam swaminarayan sanstha (YDS), Australia is a registered non for profit, charity organization working for society welfare in Australia and many other places around World. Some of our welfare activities are listed below
ENVIRONMENTAL
Environmental Care: Thousands of trees have been successfully planted in many places around the world. YDS is also contributing in promoting organic farming, water conservation, and afforestation.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Youth Sabha: Thousands of Youths in over hundreds of centers worldwide including Australia have benefited through such assemblies held every week in which the confusions and questions that crowd the mind of today’s generation are cleared and answered with love, warmth and blessings.
Youth Convention: A 3-day youth convention is organized every year, attended by thousands of youths from every corner of India and abroad. Crises management, Trouble shooting, Cultural development, Harmony, Social development and Personality development etc. were the major issues considered at the convention.
Youth Camps: Youth camps held at different parts of the world every year, in which everyone from a young child to volunteer participates and thousands of youths benefited from the spiritual discourses, quiz, elocution, games, and sport.
MORAL AND SPIRITUAL
Sabha (Assembly): Through hundreds of centers worldwide including Australia, thousands of assemblies (sabha) held on regular basis in which tiny tots learn through stories, teenagers through sports and games, youths through discussions and personal interaction, elders through discourses and reading.
Workshops and Camps: Special short-term workshops and camps held to train volunteers to contribute thousands of hours of active service for the upliftment of the society.
EDUCATIONAL
Educational Care: The Founder president of YDS, H.D.H. Hariprasad Swamiji believes that education is not like filling a bucket with stuff but like lighting a candle that not only enlightens the outer but also the inner self. YDS is working in the direction of creating an educated society. YDS also provide financial support to poor and needy people for their education completion.
